Installation

Read carefully to install this performance mod properly:

1. Locate the Config Folder

• Press Start, type Run, then type AppData and press Enter.
• Go to this path:
  C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows\

• Replace %USERNAME% with your actual Windows username.

2. Backup the Original File

• Find Engine.ini in the folder above.
• Right-click, choose Copy, and paste it somewhere safe (e.g., Desktop).
• Rename the backup file to Engine_backup.ini for reference.

3. Choose and Replace the Configuration File

• Open the mod’s folder structure and select the file that matches your GPU and optimization preference:
  • Example paths:
    • AMD/Nvidia → RX 600 Series Desktop → Aggressive → Engine.ini
    • AMD/Nvidia → RX 600 Series Desktop → Performance → Engine.ini
• Copy the desired Engine.ini file.
• Go back to the config folder:
  C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Marvel\Saved\Config\Windows\

• Paste the copied Engine.ini and overwrite the original.

4. Adjust Settings for High-VRAM GPUs (Optional)

If your GPU has 12GB+ VRAM, consider modifying the file for optimal performance:

• Open the copied Engine.ini using Notepad.
• Locate the [TextureStreaming] section.
• Adjust the PoolSize value based on your GPU:
  • 4–8GB VRAM: PoolSize=2048
  • 6–16GB VRAM: PoolSize=4096
  • 8–24GB VRAM: PoolSize=6144
  • 12–32GB VRAM: PoolSize=8192

Example:

• Save your changes to the file.

5. Finalize and Play

• Optional: Set the Engine.ini file to Read-only:
  • Right-click the file, select Properties, check Read-only, and click Apply.
• Launch Marvel Rivals and enjoy improved performance!
